Boracay Lost & Found

We have now added a new page to our Boracay Blog called, BORACAY LOST & FOUND, where tourist and locals alike can post items they have either lost or have found during their vacation time on Boracay Island. It's always disappointing to hear about someone losing or having something stolen while vacationing on the beautiful island of Boracay, however this can happen regardless of what country or island destination you are visiting, as it's always recommended to be aware of your surroundings, and to be diligent about keeping tabs on your personal belongings.

  1. Don't leave your items unattended while swimming or playing on Boracay beach, ask someone in your group to sit with them.
  2. iPhones, iPads, Laptops, Cameras of all models are all high ticket items targeted by thieves, do not leave them in the open.
  3. Keep your backpack locked, this just makes it harder for someone to take a single item.
  4. Buy a waterproof phone pouch that can be carried with you while swimming.
  5. Be aware of people you do not know, standing near you and your things.

Look, at the end of the day, regardless of how diligent you are about keeping your items near to you, if a thief wants something, they will find a way to separate you from your items, and this goes for any country you visit, or for that matter any place you live. I have been very lucky to not have ever lost anything while on vacation in Boracay, but again, I am very cautious to keep my things with me at all times.
